All that we have achieved over the past five years would not have been conceivable if it wasn’t for the support and goodwill of our community of patrons, donors and supporters. Since 2015, we have been committed to supporting new generations of creative thinkers to challenge the status quo by provoking critical thought, debate and research. In order to continue fulfilling this commitment we rely heavily on your continued support and generosity.
Your support, however large or small, will help the foundation…
- Continue running our free monthly conversations between scholars, artists and activists who offer thought provoking perspectives on the problems we are currently facing in our society.
- Amplify and connect the voices of underrepresented cultural producers who are committed to building a racially just and more equal society by commissioning a range of research and artwork.
- Develop educational, intergenerational spaces for creative and critical thinkers.
Other Ways to Donate
Your support will help us to realise an ambitious programme of scholarships, fellowships, residencies and public events. Any donation you make, however large or small, will be very welcome.
Your donations can qualify for tax relief under Gift Aid. For example, if you give a donation of £100, we can claim an additional £25 from HMRC.
If you are a higher rate UK tax payer, you could also benefit. For example, if you make a donation of £1000, you could be entitled to claim back £250 from HMRC. This means that your donation of £1000 would cost you only £750.
The Stuart Hall Foundation welcomes donation from individuals and organisations who live outside the UK and would like to support us. We also welcome donations from people who would like to set up a standing order or send a cheque.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss different ways of making a donation. All proceeds will go directly to the Stuart Hall Foundation.
Donations from the USA
US based donors can support our activities in a tax-efficient way through a contribution to the American Friends of the Stuart Fall Foundation at the King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS). Because KBFUS is a public charity, within the meaning of Sections 501 (c)(3) and 509 (a)(1) of the IRC, donors may claim the maximum tax benefits allowed by US tax law for their contributions.
If you wish to support us, this is how to proceed:
By cheque: Write your cheque to KBFUS, write ‘Stuart Hall Foundation’ in the memo section of the cheque and send it to KBFUS, 10 Rockefeller Plaza, 16th Floor, NY NY 10020
