The Stuart Hall Foundation is delighted to announce the launch of the Contextualising Climate Crisis Series.
We invited a number of artists, writers and thinkers to share their perspectives on the roots of the climate crisis and to centre resistance from the global south by highlighting the longstanding efforts of communities and thinkers resisting climate antagonisms and colonisation simultaneously. We hope that this series forms a counter-narrative that encourages readers to observe the contradictions in top-down approaches to circumventing the crisis and to find ways to push the struggle for climate justice forward.
Expect contributions from Aneesa Khan, Arwa Aburawa, Ashish Ghdiali, Dalia Gebrial, Jhannel Tomlinson, Leon Sealey-Huggins and more.
