Applications open for PGR Studentship at University of Sussex

The Stuart Hall Foundation is delighted to be continuing to work in partnership with The University of Sussex to offer one funded studentship per year over the next three years to a Black, British postgraduate research student to cover fees for up to 4 years per studentship.

Fees covered under the PGR studentship include:

• A maintenance allowance for 4 years at UKRI levels starting at £18,662 in 2023-4 
• UK PhD fees for 4 years
• Up to £3000 in research and fieldwork costs

PhD applicants eligible to apply this year will have already successfully applied to study from October 2023 at any of the following Schools at Sussex:

• School of Media, Arts and Humanities
• School of Global Studies
• University of Sussex Business School
• School of Law, Politics and Sociology
• School of Education and Social Work

The deadline for applications is 30 June 2023, 17:00.
