Tom Metcalfe

Tom Metcalfe is a professional musician based in Manchester, specialising in flamenco guitar and music theory. His PhD research combines practice-based knowledge in flamenco and rock/blues with jazz theory, developing a practical teaching system for advanced heptatonic scales in Western music. With a goal of making music theory more accessible, he then designed, built and populated an interactive music school inside Minecraft, filled with interactive teaching machines.
